Twice Thou “Smoke you” music video vignette Filmed Edited @jaestarfilmz
This mini Cinematic Vignette Musical™ is a journey through a day in the life of LaReefer Franklin, a stoner who hears sultry female voices from his weed supply. It’s a stoner’s anthem with a hypnotic-melodic vibe. An ode to the healing of the nation, marijuana. “Legalize Marijuana” has long been the chant of countless ganja connoisseurs all over the world. Marijuana is legal in many states so big business has emerged and reenergized a growing culture where the addiction to weed is a state-of-the-art hustle. Dispensaries are thriving, medicinal & recreational marijuana are all the rage, retail smoke shops continue to pop-up and go mainstream, club lounges with budtenders & bartenders sell sinsemilla, edible candies, snacks, ‘get-high’ gadgets and serve hemp infused liquor. Everywhere, everyone is smoking blunts, rolling papers, vaporizers, pipes, etc. If weed could talk, what would it say? What would you say? In a stoner’s high world, if he says, “I smoke you” to his weed, that would be the equivalent of a man telling a woman, “I love you”. In this video, LaReefer is a stoned out character who flirts with hundreds of bud strains. He hears voices...but they’re the seductive voices of his weed whom he identifies as females with exotic names such as Mauwie Wauwie, Mary Jane, Butterscotch & Purple Haze. He also hears confrontational voices with names like Killer Kush, Bubonic & AK-47. Light UP!!!!!
